Are my bonds earning interest?

How do I know which savings bonds are no longer earning interest? My children have some Series EE bonds from 1983 and 1985? Should we cash those in? Tom's response Series EE Savings Bonds earn interest for 30 years. Yours are good until 2013 and 2015.
